Can you dual-wield pistols in vanilla Cyberpunk 2077?
The official update materials reviewed do not describe a way to equip a pistol in each hand and fire both during ordinary combat. The official Patch 2.31 notes, dated September 11, 2025, list that patch’s changes but do not announce a native dual-pistol mechanic. Does vehicle combat let you use two pistols?
No. Update 2.0 introduced vehicle combat, in which players can use pistols and submachine guns while driving. That is a separate feature: it does not mean you can equip one pistol in each hand in regular combat. See CD PROJEKT RED’s Update 2.0 materials.
Can a mod add dual-wielding?
A community modification called Real Dual Wielding describes an option to pair firearms and other weapons. It is a modded experience, not an official Cyberpunk 2077 feature. Check the mod’s Nexus Mods listing for its current installation details and compatibility information; the available information does not establish support for every game version, platform, or combination of other mods.
