When did CONTROL Resonant come out?
Remedy Entertainment announced the launch on September 24, 2026, confirming that the game is out now. That later announcement supersedes the Q2 window reported earlier in the year. Remedy’s launch announcement is the controlling source for the current status.
Why was Q2 2026 reported?
A January 23, 2026 report said the Q2 window came from Remedy investor filings at the end of 2025. It records the earlier schedule, not the eventual launch date. Insider Gaming’s January report is useful for that historical context.
What is CONTROL Resonant?
Remedy describes CONTROL Resonant as the sequel to Control and its most ambitious game project to date. Its official community hub characterizes it as an action-adventure RPG, following Dylan Faden through a warped Manhattan amid a reality-bending cosmic threat. Who is publishing the game?
Remedy says it is self-publishing CONTROL Resonant. The company’s project page lists the release year as 2026 and says Remedy receives game sales. Remedy’s project page has the business-model details.
