There is no verified, official franchise-wide list of every Borderlands playable character’s age, height, and birthday in the sources cited here. The official material confirms some playable rosters, but it does not establish those biographical details for the characters below. Where a figure is not verified, it is marked unknown—not filled in with an estimate presented as canon.
Verified playable characters and the available biographical details
The tables separate roster confirmation from character statistics: a source can establish that someone is playable without stating their age, height, or birthday. “Not verified” means the relevant official source does not establish that field; it does not prove that no such information exists elsewhere.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
PlayStation Blog’s April 9, 2014 article names Athena, Wilhelm, Nisha, and Claptrap as playable characters and places the game’s story between the first Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Any age claim for these characters would need to specify that story period rather than silently treating it as their age in a later appearance.
| Playable character | Age in The Pre-Sequel period | Height | Birthday |
|---|---|---|---|
| Athena | Not verified; the cited PlayStation Blog roster article does not state an age. | Not verified; no measurement is stated in the cited article. | Unknown; no date is stated in the cited article. |
| Wilhelm | Not verified; the cited PlayStation Blog roster article does not state an age. | Not verified; no measurement is stated in the cited article. | Unknown; no date is stated in the cited article. |
| Nisha | Not verified; the cited PlayStation Blog roster article does not state an age. | Not verified; no measurement is stated in the cited article. | Unknown; no date is stated in the cited article. |
| Claptrap | No verified age. As a robot, a human-style age may not be the right category. | Not verified; no measurement is stated in the cited article. | Unknown; no date is stated in the cited article. |
New Tales from the Borderlands
In a PlayStation Blog article published September 2, 2022, Gearbox Studio Québec producer Frédéric Scheubel identifies Anu, Octavio, and Fran as the three player-controlled characters. That roster confirmation does not provide their ages, heights, or birthdays.

What to make of estimates in character roundups
Some secondary character roundups mix confirmed details with estimates and entries marked unknown. Those categories are not interchangeable. A number repeated by a roundup is not automatically official, and a visual height estimate based on stylized character models is especially uncertain when proportions or body types differ. Treat an estimate as an estimate only when its basis is clear; otherwise, an unverified figure should remain unverified.
- Age: Tie it to a specific game or story period. An age stated for an earlier appearance does not, by itself, establish the character’s age later.
- Height: Prefer a direct published measurement. Model or artwork comparisons are estimates, not measurements.
- Birthday: Use a date only when a reliable source states one. Do not infer a birthday from a fan list or from story events.
- Nonhuman characters: Do not force human age or birthday conventions onto robots or other nonhuman characters; mark the information unknown or explain why the category may not apply.
Does the Fatemaker have a fixed age, height, or birthday?
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has an official 2K character guide for characters in the game’s setting, but that does not establish one fixed personal biography for the player-created Fatemaker. The character is customizable, so a single age, height, or birthday should not be assigned without a source that specifically establishes it.

Why this is not a complete numerical franchise roster
The official sources cited here establish roster examples, not a full biographical database. They confirm four playable characters in The Pre-Sequel and three in New Tales from the Borderlands, while the cited material does not substantiate ages, heights, or birthdays for those characters. A franchise-wide numerical table would therefore imply more certainty and coverage than these sources support.
