That is a space requirement—not proof the installed game permanently grows by 93GB. The available reporting does not establish the final installed size or whether a later PS5 patch has replaced this one.
What does the 93GB figure mean?
It is the free space Game Science said PS5 players should have available to apply the update. The report does not establish that 93GB is the download size or that the game will occupy 93GB more after installation. The final post-update installed size was not stated by Tweakers.
So if your PS5 says there is not enough room, treat 93GB as the update’s reported space requirement rather than a confirmed permanent addition to the game’s footprint.
What can you do if the update will not install?
Game Science’s reported workaround is to delete Black Myth: Wukong and reinstall it if you cannot free enough space or the update otherwise fails. This is a suggested fallback, not a requirement for every player. Removing the game frees console storage, but make sure your save data is protected before deleting it.
