Then open Community to browse Portal experiences and servers.
How to enable Show Player Created Content
- From the Battlefield 6 main menu, open Settings.
- Select the System tab.
- Find Show player created content.
- Switch the setting ON.
- Return to the main menu and open Community to browse experiences or servers.
With the option enabled, community-created Portal maps, custom games and other user-made experiences should be available. When it is off, custom-game options may be hidden, leaving official multiplayer playlists and campaign missions. The setting path is described in a gaming guide and in an EA Forums troubleshooting thread; the forum advice is from players, not official EA support documentation.
Where to find community experiences and servers
From the main menu, go to Multiplayer, then Community and Browse Servers. You can also use Experience Search to look for a user-created game by keyword or experience code. Menu labels and placement can change with updates, so they may not appear exactly this way in every version. These navigation details come from a server-browser guide.
If the message still appears
Check that the option is still on
Return to Settings > System > Show player created content and verify the toggle. In the EA Forums thread, one player said the option had switched itself off and that enabling it again restored access. Treat this as a player-reported workaround, not a confirmed cause or guaranteed fix.

Restart the game if the change has not taken effect
If the toggle is on but Battlefield 6 still shows the message, fully close and restart the game, then check Community again. The server-browser guide suggests a restart may be needed after changing the setting; it does not establish that every player or platform must restart.
Do not assume the prompt means you need to purchase the game
Although the forum thread title includes “Purchase,” its suggested fix is to enable the content-visibility setting. The original poster reported that reinstalling and restoring the game license did not solve the issue, so the message alone is not proof that another purchase or reinstall is required.
