Which weapons work with Messa?
Bloodletter is Kira Kitazato’s exclusive five-star weapon. The official announcement says it increases damage dealt by Kitazato and Bleed; Prydwen’s weapon data lists Attack, Ailment Accuracy, Rending Pierce Rate, and damage against Bleeding foes among its effects.

Prydwen also lists the four-star Undying Embers as an option. Its effect increases Attack and grants stacking Attack when its wielder inflicts Bleed. Both weapons are in-game items, not physical products.
The official announcement’s Most Wanted contract and Arms Deal ran from 2:30 AM March 12, 2026, through 1:59 AM March 26, 2026 UTC. That period has passed. The announcement says the featured character and weapon may return through future opportunities but gives no return date, so check the live contract screen for your region before assuming either is currently obtainable.

What team should you use with Messa?
Prydwen’s standard team suggestion is Messa + Chord + Vino + Wonder. In that setup, Chord enables more Messa Highlights, while Vino provides single-target Defense Down and damage-taken debuffs. These are guide-level suggestions, not universal requirements; your roster, encounter, and game version may change the best lineup.
The guide also lists a damage-over-time composition of Sepia + Messa + Seaside Moko + Wonder. For this team, it says Seaside Moko’s Ailment Accuracy buff should go to Sepia, the focus of that composition. More generally, the official announcement supports bringing allies who buff Messa’s Ailment Accuracy.
How should you interpret the listed Bleed mechanics?
Prydwen’s translated skill data describes Messa’s A0 passive as having a 70% chance to inflict one Bleed stack each time a Doctor-mode skill deals damage. It describes Bleed as dealing, each turn, Almighty damage equal to 1% of the target’s maximum HP plus Physical damage equal to 4% of Kitazato’s Attack, lasting four turns and stacking up to ten times.
Those figures come from a specialist guide whose listed skill values are level 10; the guide says its translated character data comes from Chinese. Check the current in-game skill text for your region and version before relying on the exact percentages or mechanics.
