Where to look for Aluminum Ore
Start in northwestern Hagga Basin
Guide listings point to the upper-left subregions of Hagga Basin as a place to look for Aluminum. Use the Eastern Shield Wall and Pinnacle Station to orient yourself, then search nearby resource areas. These are landmarks and broad route guidance, not exact node coordinates.
Check The Pillars in Hagga Rift
A secondary guide identifies The Pillars, just below Pinnacle Station in Hagga Rift, as an Aluminum vein area. Use it as another waypoint to investigate; the available route description does not establish precise coordinates or a guaranteed vein spawn.
How to mine it efficiently
Use a Buggy when you have the right setup
Game8’s Aluminum route guidance says a Buggy Mk4 or above can follow its marked route. Vehicle mining is the clearest supported option for covering that route when you have access to the buggy and its compatible in-game cutteray. The route’s exact harvest total and completion time are not established.

Why map markers can be misleading
The Hidden Gaming Lair interactive map lists more than 5,000 small-pickup Aluminum Ore markers, but that count does not mean that many active Aluminum nodes are available at once. The map provider notes that many Hagga Basin resource spots rotate between ore and other resources. A marker can identify a useful location while the current spawn is something other than Aluminum.

Choose between Hagga Basin and the Deep Desert
On official servers, Hagga Basin is the safer place to farm if you want to avoid PvP. Funcom says PvP is no longer enabled there as of patch 1.3.20.0. The Deep Desert is different: players choose a PvE or PvP instance before entering from the Overland map. Funcom’s Help Center says the PvP instance has a 2.5x multiplier to mining yield and spice harvesting. That higher yield may suit players willing to accept combat risk; choose the PvE instance if avoiding player combat matters more than the multiplier. Read Funcom’s PvP and Deep Desert guidance.

How much to rely on old Deep Desert route advice
A historical Funcom hotfix announcement said resource density increases farther north in the Deep Desert, with more valuable and plentiful loot in the northernmost PvP zones. Because that guidance is tied to an older update and Deep Desert conditions can change with later patches and Coriolis Storms, treat it as historical context—not a guarantee of the best current Aluminum route.
