Could shiny Pokémon arrive in future DLC?
Future content is possible, but Nintendo has not announced shiny Pokémon as part of the Expansion Pass. Nintendo says Part 1, Bubbly Basin, released on August 4, 2026; Part 2 is scheduled for late 2026 and Part 3 for 2027. The published schedule does not say that any part will add shinies: Nintendo’s Expansion Pass information.
Pokopia is a Nintendo Switch 2 life simulation starring Ditto, where players build a world with Pokémon. Nintendo lists a physical edition, but owning the game does not establish access to shiny Pokémon: Nintendo’s Pokémon Pokopia product page.
