PlayStation’s official Black Myth: Wukong page lists Elden Ring, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Lies of P under “More games like Black Myth: Wukong.” That makes them a useful starting shortlist, not a claim that they share every feature.
What makes a game feel like Black Myth: Wukong?
There is no single feature that defines the match. PlayStation describes Black Myth: Wukong as an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology and based on Journey to the West. Its product page highlights staff techniques, combinations of spells, abilities, weapons, and equipment, as well as exploration, powerful foes, and character stories. A follow-up can match the appeal of its action without matching its setting, weapons, or RPG systems.
Use the difference you want to preserve as your guide: combat emphasis, the kind of story and setting you want, or the scale and shape of the adventure. The recommendations below are starting points, not a difficulty ranking or a claim of mechanical equivalence.

Best games to play after Black Myth: Wukong
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice — for a parry-centered combat direction
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an official pick on PlayStation’s Wukong-related-games list. It is a good title to investigate if you want your next action game to lean into a different combat rhythm rather than simply repeat Wukong’s staff-and-ability mix. A reader discussion also points to its parry-focused loop, but that is an informal player characterization, not an objective comparison. See PlayStation’s related-games list.
Lies of P — for another action-focused adventure
Lies of P also appears on PlayStation’s list and in player recommendations for what to play after Wukong. Consider it if you want another demanding, action-led game, while keeping expectations open: the available sources do not establish that its systems, difficulty, or story work like Wukong’s. Elden Ring — for a broader action-RPG alternative
Elden Ring is the third title PlayStation specifically groups with Wukong. It is the shortlist choice to explore if you are open to a broader action-RPG alternative rather than looking for a close copy of Wukong’s combat or mythology. The related-games listing establishes editorial relevance, but does not by itself establish specific similarities in mechanics, world structure, or platform editions. God of War — an adjacent action-and-story suggestion
God of War comes up in community recommendations from players discussing what to play after Wukong. It may suit someone looking for action alongside a story, but it is not on the US PlayStation page’s Wukong-specific related-games list.
