Yes—trident killers can kill iron golems in Bedrock Edition, and can be used as the killing mechanism in an iron farm. The tutorial supports the mechanic, not a specific current schematic. Before building, check that the instructions match your Minecraft edition and version; a design that moves golems into a kill chamber still needs to suit the farm you are using.
Trident killer or lava: which should you use?
The tutorial describes lava as generally faster, but says a trident killer can be faster when the tridents have Impaling V and the golems remain in contact with water. That is a conditional comparison, not a guaranteed rate: no measured kill speed is established for a particular build.

The cited tutorial describes trident killers in its Bedrock section. That supports a Bedrock answer, but does not establish a Java Edition result. If you play Java, look for a design explicitly made for your edition and version rather than assuming a Bedrock build or its mechanics apply.
