How do you complete Arcite 99-40’s weapon quests? You can’t complete them in the current version of Destiny 2: Bungie removed the Hall of Champions and Arcite’s associated quests after June 3, 2024. During Into the Light, the quests rewarded curated limited-edition BRAVE weapons and unlocked attunement, which improved the chance of earning the selected weapon from reward sources.
Can you complete Arcite’s weapon quests now?
No. Arcite’s weapon quests were part of the Into the Light Hall of Champions, and Bungie said the Hall and associated content would no longer be available after June 3, 2024. The change took effect with The Final Shape launch on June 4, 2024. The quests are not a current activity or a way to claim their original rewards now. Bungie’s April 18, 2024 announcement specifically included the Arcite 99-40 quests and weapon attunement in the removal.

How Arcite’s quests worked during Into the Light
Into the Light launched on April 9, 2024. Arcite-99 was the Hall of Champions quartermaster: players could pick up BRAVE weapon attunement quests and weekly bounties from him. Completing an attunement quest unlocked increased odds for the chosen BRAVE weapon to drop from reward sources. Bungie also said completing Arcite’s quests guaranteed a curated limited-edition variant of each of the 12 BRAVE weapons during the event.
That guaranteed quest reward was distinct from simply earning a standard BRAVE weapon. The limited-edition versions and the Arcite quest path were time-limited. Can you still get BRAVE weapons?
Yes, but later ways to obtain a BRAVE weapon do not restore Arcite’s quests or award their original limited-edition variants. Bungie said Onslaught and its BRAVE weapon rewards would continue in Vanguard Ops after The Final Shape launched. In July 2025, Bungie announced that Xûr would offer standard, non-foil versions of BRAVE weapons and that Zavala would no longer offer Onslaught attunement. Vendor inventories and availability can change, so check the current game for what is offered. Bungie’s July 3, 2025 update states the standard-version limitation.

Bungie’s official pages establish Arcite’s purpose, the attunement mechanic, the quest reward, and the removal date, but they do not provide the exact objectives for every individual weapon quest. A current step-by-step walkthrough cannot be followed in-game because the quests were removed, and guessing at objectives would risk confusing different weapon quests or other Into the Light activities.
