Where can you download the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster demo?
Find the demo in your console’s regional storefront: the US PlayStation Store lists a PS5 demo, and the US Xbox Store lists one for Xbox Series X|S. Both list it as free. Store availability can vary by region, so search the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store for “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster” if you are outside the United States.
Is the demo free, and what does it include?
Both US listings show the demo as free and describe it as letting players begin the remaster from the start. The listings also caution that some aspects may differ from the full game. This is a trial of the opening, not a separate version with a save that carries forward.
Can demo progress transfer to the full game?
No. The PlayStation and Xbox listings both state that saved data from the demo cannot be transferred to the full version. If you decide to buy the game, expect to start a new save.

Which platforms have a demo?

These are platform-store descriptions, not independent performance or compatibility tests. Capcom’s release announcement also lists the full game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
What does the remaster change?
Capcom describes Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster as a revival built with its RE ENGINE, with improved graphics, controls and 3D audio. The PlayStation overview additionally describes revamped controls, an improved user interface, autosaving and full voice acting. Those are publisher and platform descriptions, not an independent assessment of how the game performs.

Capcom lists 14 text languages and nine voice languages. Its announcement said the digital release was scheduled for September 19, 2024, with a physical release planned for November 2024. Those launch dates are historical and do not confirm present-day stock or availability; check the relevant store or retailer for current options. The demo remains distinct from the paid full game.

The sources establishing demo availability are the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S storefront listings. Capcom’s announcement that the full game also launched for PC is not evidence of a PC demo, so PC players should check their regional PC storefront rather than assume the console demo is available there. For PC owners considering the full game, Capcom Support’s Steam troubleshooting guidance, updated July 20, 2026, directs players to the Steam Store page for minimum requirements. Capcom warns that systems below them may have poor frame rates or fail to run; some integrated graphics chips may work but are not tested or officially supported.
