What kind of game is Delta Force?
Garena described Delta Force as a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter. Its 2024 announcement outlined two main modes: Warfare, with large-scale 32-versus-32 combat, and Operations, a three-player extraction mode where teams collect supplies and try to reach extraction. A failed run could cost players their equipment and supplies, according to that announcement.
Xbox Wire’s 2025 announcement described the Xbox offering as including Warfare, Operations, and a PvE Black Hawk Down campaign. That is a description of the announced Xbox package, not a guarantee that modes or features will remain identical across platforms or throughout the live-service game’s life.
