That date was local midnight for Switch 2, but a fixed Japan-time launch for Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5—so some players saw a June 4 release in their time zone.
When did DELTARUNE Chapters 3 and 4 come out?
The Chapters 1–4 package launched on June 5, 2025. Toby Fox announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 version would go live at midnight on June 5 in each region. Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 instead launched at 00:00 Japan time on June 5. Fox’s announcement translated that fixed time to June 4 at 8 a.m. PDT, 11 a.m. EDT, and 5 p.m. CET. The differing dates in some headlines and player posts reflect time zones, not separate launches. Fox’s release-time notice stated: “The Nintendo Switch 2 version of DELTARUNE will launch on June 5 at midnight local time in each respective region.”

What platforms is DELTARUNE available on now?
The official DELTARUNE FAQ currently lists PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Chapters 3 and 4 are sold as part of Chapters 1–4, rather than as separate purchases. Nintendo Switch 2 was the new platform alongside which those chapters debuted; the game is not exclusive to it.
How much does DELTARUNE cost?
The official FAQ lists the North American price as US$24.99 and describes other regions as roughly equivalent. Nintendo of Canada lists C$32.99 for the Switch and Switch 2 versions on its Switch product page. These are region-specific storefront prices, not a universal price; check your local store for its current listing.

Is the Switch 2 version different?
Toby Fox described the platform differences as small. Switch 2 has a special room that uses its two-controller mouse controls; other versions use a different control method for that room. The story, dialogue, music, and core game content are the same across versions, according to Fox’s release newsletter. The launch-week newsletter also noted that Nintendo-platform patches ran on a different schedule: “Because patches for Nintendo platforms require a different timescale, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 will not initially have those changes.” That caveat applied to last-minute changes around the 2025 launch, not necessarily to current builds.
Can you carry over a demo save or an older-console save?
The FAQ explains that demo save data can be imported when starting the full game on supported consoles, provided the save is present on that console and the player uses the same account. It also says full-game saves can move from Switch to Switch 2 and from PS4 to PS5. Transfers in the reverse direction are not supported. See the official save-transfer and demo-import guidance for the applicable steps.

No. The official FAQ says you do not have to replay Chapters 1 and 2 before trying Chapter 3 or 4. If you played the earlier demo, its save may be importable on supported consoles under the account and on-console requirements above. The FAQ covers both chapter access and save data.
Is there a physical version?
The official FAQ says there is no physical version yet. Chapters 1–4 are therefore a digital purchase; the sources do not establish a cartridge or disc edition.
