No. As of October 8, 2026, Steam lists Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced for purchase. The Steam bundle includes both Enhanced and Legacy, so a search result suggesting the game was unlisted does not mean GTA V is unavailable on Steam.
Why can’t I find GTA 5 on Steam?
A Steam Community discussion search result displays a notice saying the publisher requested that Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced be unlisted and hidden from search. That notice conflicts with the live Steam product page, which currently has a purchase option. Search visibility and direct product-page availability are different; the notice may also be historical or specific to its context. It does not establish that all GTA V editions were permanently removed. Steam’s current product listing is the stronger evidence for present availability, while the Steam Community search result explains why the question arises.
Which GTA V editions does the Steam listing include?
Steam’s current listing is for Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, with a release date of March 4, 2025. The bundle includes Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, Grand Theft Auto V Legacy, and the Legacy Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack. The listing does not establish that Legacy is available as a separate purchase.
Can you move progress from Legacy to Enhanced?
Steam says current PC players can migrate Story Mode progress and GTA Online characters and progression from Legacy to Enhanced one time. Its product listing states: “Current PC players can transfer both GTAV Story Mode progress and GTA Online characters and progression with a one-time migration from the legacy version of GTAV to GTAV Enhanced.” See the Steam listing for the migration details.

What if the Steam listing still doesn’t appear?
Rockstar’s official PC store also offers GTA V through Rockstar Games Launcher and says the purchase includes both Enhanced and Legacy. Check Rockstar’s PC store listing. Store pages and regional availability can change, so confirm the purchase option in your region before buying.
