- Launch Steam and complete its setup. If you use an older Ubuntu release, check Valve’s current README for the Steam client’s graphics-driver and glibc requirements.
Download and install Crusader Kings III
- Open the Crusader Kings III Steam page.
- Use the available Steam option to purchase or otherwise acquire the game. Price and availability vary by Steam region and may change.
- In the Steam client, open your Library, select Crusader Kings III, and choose the install option. Select an installation location with at least 20 GB available, as specified in the listing.
Do you need Proton to play on Ubuntu?
Usually, do not force Proton for this game. Steam lists Crusader Kings III as supporting SteamOS + Linux, so start with the native Linux version offered by Steam.
