Xbox 360 S weight compared with the original Xbox 360
The Xbox 360 S is the redesigned model commonly known as the Slim. It was announced in June 2010 and has a smaller, more angular design than the original Xbox 360. The technical specifications reference lists these weights:

No: the cited 2.9 kg figure is for the console. A complete setup weighs more once you add the power supply, controller, and cables, and a boxed console weighs more still. The available manual information does not establish a verified packed shipping weight, so use the console figure only when estimating the console itself—not postage or a full bundle.
