Is DREDGE free on Epic Games now?
No. As of October 8, 2026, Epic’s DREDGE store listing showed paid digital editions rather than an active free claim. Prices and sale status can change, so check the listing for current availability, editions, and pricing.
Was the 2025 Epic Holiday Sale the same offer?
No. Epic’s 2025 Holiday Sale was a separate event, running from December 11, 2025, through January 8, 2026. Epic’s official announcement named Hogwarts Legacy as the first free game in that event; it did not revive the expired DREDGE giveaway.

Epic describes DREDGE as “a single-player fishing adventure with a sinister undercurrent.” Black Salt Games developed the game, and Team17 Digital published it under license. Epic lists Windows and Mac versions and a March 30, 2023 release date.
