The Giant Bird Rune farm is at the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace in Mohgwyn Palace. From the grace, shoot the Giant Crow across the chasm with an arrow; it will charge toward you and may run off the cliff. Rest at the grace to reset it and repeat. The fall can depend on where you shoot from, so take the shot near the ledge.

How to farm the Giant Crow
- Travel to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace.
- Move to a firing position near the ledge and look across the gap for the Giant Crow.
- Shoot the bird with an arrow to draw its attention. It may charge toward you and fall from the cliff.
- Wait for the Rune award, return to the grace, and rest to reset the bird.
- Repeat the shot. If the bird stops rather than falling, adjust your position closer to the ledge.
The cited guides describe an arrow-triggered method, but do not specify a required bow, arrow type, damage threshold, or exact number of shots.
How many Runes does each cycle give?
Gamers.Wiki reports an approximate yield of 10,000–13,245 Runes per bird cycle before boosts in its 2026 guide. Treat that as a third-party estimate, not an official or guaranteed amount. Actual yield may vary with game state and Rune bonuses; no official patch-specific figure is established by the cited sources.

- Collaborating with George R.R. Martin to create the ELDEN RING mythos has been a genuinely delightful experience and a source of wonderful inspiration. The team is working hard to ensure that the world of ELDEN RING will be a fascinating place for players to explore, filled with peril and wonder from its furthest reaches to its lowest depths. This is a FromSoftware title through and through, rich in fantasy and RPG action. We sincerely hope you look forward to it.
- Building the world of ELDEN RING with Miyazaki-san and his team was a treat! The graphics, mythos, and action-RPG gameplay will deliver an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait for people to see what ELDEN RING has in store for them.” Said George R.R. Martin.
Bird farm or Albinauric farm?
The same grace overlooks Albinaurics on a hillside, which can be farmed in groups with a suitable area-of-effect attack. The bird loop avoids clearing a group each cycle, but it requires an aimed shot and reliable positioning. The available guides do not provide a controlled comparison, so which is faster depends on your attack, aim, and time spent resetting.
