Where to find events
Use the Event Board in the Plaza
The Event Board is an in-game object introduced in the September 23, 2026 Season of Scares update. It can track up to three live events without requiring you to search the menu. Players encounter it while completing The Astronomer’s Journey Star Path and are asked to place it in the Plaza. See the official Season of Scares Update Patch Notes.
Check the Event menu too
The Board is a quick overview, not proof that every activity or schedule detail is shown there. Open the in-game Event menu for event details and current tasks, and check platform-specific notices if you play Apple Arcade. Exact live status and end times should be read in game: the official update and event announcements available for October 8 do not establish what is active that day.

How to start The Astronomer’s Journey
The Astronomer’s Journey is a permanent introductory Star Path, not a rotating event with a short announced window. The September 23, 2026 official update says it becomes available after you unlock your first Realm and speak to Merlin. From there, you progress by completing Valley quests at your own pace. It can be completed once only. The update said Apple Arcade players would receive it in their next free update; that statement alone does not confirm its rollout on every Apple Arcade account.

- Unlock your first Realm.
- Speak to Merlin to access The Astronomer’s Journey.
- Complete its Valley quests and duties to progress, placing the Event Board in the Plaza when prompted.
How the Star Path Vault works
The Vault lets you earn selected rewards from previous Star Paths, including recolored variants, by completing Routine Duties. The official April 7, 2026 explanation says progress is linear: three completed Routine Duties unlock one Vault reward. The reward selection rotates with each new Star Path, so the Vault is not a permanent catalog of every historical item.
According to the April 8, 2026 Whispers of the Wind update notes, a reward you already own is marked as owned and replaced by a random Red Chest. Premium players can access additional reimagined rewards. The available selection and access details are described in the official Star Path Vault explanation and the Whispers of the Wind patch notes.

How DreamSnaps works
The official DreamSnaps feature announcement describes a themed challenge in the Event menu, with entries built around either clothing or furniture. It outlines required and suggested tags, voting, Pixel Dust progression, Moonstone rewards, and Scrooge’s Store items. Follow the active in-game prompt for the current theme and its exact requirements rather than assuming an older challenge’s rules still apply.
The original feature announcement listed 50 Moonstones for voting, a 300-Moonstone minimum participation reward, and 5,500 or more Moonstones for the top five designers. Those are historical figures from that announcement, whose publication date is not shown in the located source; they are not confirmation of current DreamSnaps rewards. Check the current Event menu for the applicable rules.

Apple Arcade: check the edition-specific Star Path
The September 2026 patch notes describe Apple Arcade Star Paths as having no Premium Track, Premium Rewards, Moonstones, or purchasable Tokens. They say Daily Duties and Milestone Rewards replace some systems used by the regular edition. The same notes forecast that the Apple Arcade Star Path Haunting Elegance would launch later in October, but do not establish an exact date or confirm that it had launched by October 8. For the current offering, rely on the Apple Arcade game’s notices and in-game Event menu.

Use dates only when they are displayed for the event you can currently access. For context, the July 27, 2026 Pixel Perfect announcement listed Summer Sizzle for August 5–18, Parks Floating Festival for August 19–September 8, and Memory Mania for September 16–29. All those announced windows had passed by October 8, 2026. The June 1 update listed Dreamlight Parks Fest for June 10–30 and Picture Pursuit for July 15–28, also past by that date. These announcements are useful records of scheduled events, not a current calendar.

For current weekly activities such as DreamSnaps, confirm reset timing and deadlines in game. General guidance and older feature descriptions do not establish the exact UTC schedule for a particular week.
