To recruit Yusuke, Iugo, Kuroto, and Gigina in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, find each character at the location below and meet the specific requirement: Yusuke and Iugo join after a conversation, Kuroto asks you to defeat three Wild Boars, and Gigina requires story progress plus Nowa at level 9 or higher.
Recruit Iugo in Eltisweiss
- Go to the bar on a sidestreet off Eltisweiss’s easternmost vertical street.
- Speak to Iugo there to recruit him.
Recruit Yusuke at Fort Xialuke
- Find Yusuke on the Grum County side of Fort Xialuke.
- Speak to him to recruit him.
Recruit Kuroto in Altverden Village
- Speak to Kuroto in the southwest area of Altverden Village to begin his quest.

Wild Boars you defeated before starting Kuroto’s quest count toward the three required. If you have seen an older guide asking for five, that count was reduced to three in a patch dated April 20, 2024; the current requirement is three.
Recruit Gigina in Arenside
After the initial events in the Abandoned Mines, find Gigina in the former League of Nations camp area in Arenside. Speak to him when Nowa is level 9 or higher to recruit him.

- Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.
- Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further. It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.
