The free Steam claim window for HITMAN World of Assassination: Episode Sapienza ran from May 29 to May 30, 2025, and has ended. It was a limited-time offer for the Sapienza episode bundle—not the complete HITMAN World of Assassination game.
When was the Sapienza episode free on Steam?
IO Interactive offered the bundle for 24 hours, from May 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. CEST until May 30, 2025, at 6 p.m. CEST. The company said the bundle would be delisted when the free period ended. That deadline has passed, so the offer is no longer available to claim. IO Interactive’s May 29, 2025 announcement gives the dates and terms.

What did Episode: Sapienza include?
IO Interactive described Episode: Sapienza as a standalone introduction to World of Assassination centered on the Sapienza location. Its listed content included:
- The main campaign mission “World of Tomorrow”
- The bonus missions “The Icon” and “Landslide”
- More than 50 challenges
- Access to HITMAN live content and contract creation features
The inclusions are listed in IO Interactive’s announcement. It does not provide an exhaustive feature-by-feature comparison with the complete game or a full list of exclusions, so the bundle’s listed contents should not be treated as a complete comparison.

Was this the same as the 2018 Sapienza free offer?
No. In March 2018, IO Interactive separately promoted the HITMAN Spring Pack on Steam. That offer included the entire Sapienza location and was available to download before April 3, 2018, according to the March 21, 2018 Steam announcement. It was a different promotion from the 2025 Episode: Sapienza bundle.
