The final Monster Arena is in the well in Jipang. To open it, defeat Xenlon in the post-game and choose the wish to open the final Monster Arena. Then travel to Jipang and enter the newly opened door in its well.

Enter the well and go through the new door. This is the entrance to the final Monster Arena, according to the post-game walkthrough.

Choose Rank 10 or Rank 11. Jipang hosts both ranks, and Rank 11 is the highest listed. Its listed prize money is 395,963 gold, according to the undated Dragon Quest Wiki page retrieved in 2026.

Don’t confuse it with the Temple of Trials
The Temple of Trials is a separate post-game destination. Its entrance is a portal high in the sky north of Aliahan, reached with Ramia after choosing Xenlon’s blank wish. That route does not lead to the final Monster Arena.
How the Monster Arena ranks are distributed

The walkthrough and arena reference establish the location and unlock sequence, but do not establish a minimum monster count or team composition for entering Rank 11. The walkthrough suggests recruiting monsters in the Temple of Trials and returning if the fights prove difficult.
