Supercell’s Terms of Service say the company reserves the right to terminate an account after 180 days of inactivity. That is not a promise that every Clash of Clans account is automatically deleted on day 180: the published clause sets a threshold but does not specify an enforcement schedule.
What Supercell’s 180-day policy says
Section 1.2 of Supercell’s Terms of Service states: “SUPERCELL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ANY ACCOUNT THAT HAS BEEN INACTIVE FOR 180 DAYS.” In other words, Supercell claims the right to terminate an account once it has been inactive for that period; the wording does not say that termination happens automatically or exactly on the 180th day.
The clause does not explain how inactivity is measured, whether players receive a warning, or when the company would enforce the policy. So if you have not played for 180 days or longer, the terms alone cannot confirm whether your village remains available.
Inactivity is different from requesting account deletion

These are separate processes: an inactivity clause gives Supercell a right to act, while a player-requested deletion is a request for permanent account closure.

What happens to unused account data?
Supercell’s Privacy Policy, effective March 11, 2026, says the company retains data while an account is active or as needed to provide the service, and may periodically de-identify unused game accounts. De-identifying data is not the same as confirming that a Clash of Clans account has been immediately deleted. The policy also says some data may be retained when necessary for legitimate business interests after a personal-data removal request. (Supercell Privacy Policy)
How to check on a village you have not used
- Try signing in to Clash of Clans. This is the practical way to check whether you can still access the village.
- If you can access the game, open its in-game Support feature and ask Supercell about the account if anything is missing or access is uncertain.
- If the village is connected to Supercell ID, Supercell Support directs players seeking account deletion to log in with Supercell ID and follow the deletion process.
- If it is not connected to Supercell ID, Supercell’s deletion guidance says to contact Support in the game. (Supercell Support: How to delete your game account)
The deletion steps are for players who want permanent closure, not for restoring an inactive account. Supercell’s published inactivity clause does not say whether a terminated account can be recovered, so ask Support for account-specific guidance.

Other reasons an account may be terminated
The same Terms of Service separately allow Supercell to limit, suspend, terminate, modify, or delete accounts for suspected noncompliance or actual or suspected illegal or improper use. Supercell says termination may disable access and result in the loss of earned or purchased virtual items without compensation. These provisions are distinct from the 180-day inactivity clause.
