The publisher lists those tiers for both FM26 (PC) and FM26 Console. Choose the edition that matches how you want to play; you do not need Ultimate solely to access the game.
Which Game Pass tiers include Football Manager 26?
In an April 13, 2026 update, Football Manager said both FM26 (PC) and FM26 Console were available through PC Game Pass, Premium, and Ultimate. That is the latest publisher tier statement available as of October 8, 2026. Football Manager’s tier update lists:
- FM26 (PC): PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Premium, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
- FM26 Console: PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Premium, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
So, if your only reason for considering Ultimate is Football Manager 26, the publisher’s current listing names Premium and PC Game Pass as alternatives too. Check your local Game Pass catalog before subscribing, since availability and platform benefits can vary by region.
Which edition should you choose?
The tier list is the same in the publisher’s April 2026 announcement, but the editions are different products. FM26 (PC) is the PC edition; FM26 Console is the controller-optimized console edition. The publisher’s November 4, 2025 launch announcement distinguishes them and identifies the launch platforms.

| Edition | Publisher-listed tiers | Platform and cloud notes |
|---|---|---|
| FM26 (PC) | PC Game Pass, Premium, Ultimate | Publisher says available on PC. Confirm local platform access in your catalog. |
| FM26 Console | PC Game Pass, Premium, Ultimate | Publisher describes availability on Xbox, Cloud, and PC. Cloud access terms can be market-specific. |
The Xbox Store listing for Spain shows FM26 Console included with Premium, PC Game Pass, and Ultimate; it specifically lists cloud play with Premium and Ultimate. That is a Spain-localized listing, not proof that cloud access works identically in every market. Check the Xbox Store page for your region for the edition, device, and cloud details that apply to you.
Why do older pages say Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass?
Football Manager announced FM26 on November 4, 2025. At launch, it referred to PC Game Pass for FM26 (PC) and Xbox Game Pass for FM26 Console. The later Premium announcement says the games had previously been available on Ultimate and PC Game Pass before being added to Premium. That April 2026 change explains why launch-era guides may not mention Premium.
