That Advanced Access Beta ran ahead of the November 2025 launch and has ended, so it is no longer possible to join it. During the offer, players used Steam or the Epic Games Store; keys from participating third-party digital retailers were activated on Steam.
Can you still get early access to FM26?
No. FM26’s Advanced Access Beta was a pre-launch offer, not an ongoing trial or permanent early-access edition. The beta ended before the full game’s November 2025 release, so the steps below describe how the offer worked at the time—not a way to gain access now.

For the historical offer, eligibility required a PC or Mac pre-purchase from a SEGA-approved digital retailer. The official announcement described the beta on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with participating third-party retailer purchases redeemed on Steam. Football Manager’s beta announcement and SEGA Europe’s notice set out the offer.
How the FM26 Advanced Access Beta worked

Choose PC or Mac. The offer described in the official beta instructions was for those versions; it was not a route to early access on console or mobile.

Pre-purchase from a SEGA-approved digital retailer. Buying from an unapproved seller was not established as qualifying for the offer.

Install through the store where you bought it. For a Steam or Epic Games Store purchase, restart the relevant app and install FM26 once it appeared in your library.

Redeem third-party retailer purchases on Steam. If you bought from a participating digital retailer, follow its emailed code or redemption link. The official guide’s third-party activation route was for Steam.
These instructions cannot be used to enter the beta now that the offer has ended.

What to expect from the beta
Advanced Access was an early build, so bugs and glitches were possible. Some club or player assets could also be missing while rights-holder approvals were pending.
The official announcement said career progress from the beta could continue into the full game, and specifically assured players that single-player career progress would carry over. It also described online career play, but the cited carryover assurance applies to career progress and single-player careers; it should not be read as a separate promise about every online save.

FM26 release dates depended on region and platform
Dates varied in the official notices. The global Football Manager announcement said the game would launch from November 4, 2025, with Advanced Access on Steam and Epic roughly two weeks earlier; it also cautioned that access could begin at different times across platforms. The global launch announcement is the reference for that wording.
SEGA Japan listed November 5, 2025 as the Japanese release date. Its notice also listed the PS5 package edition and Nintendo Switch Football Manager 26 Touch edition for December 4, 2025. Those regional and platform dates are not interchangeable with the global PC/Mac timing. SEGA Japan’s launch notice provides its regional details.

Does the PS5 or Switch edition qualify?
No early-access route for the PS5 package or Nintendo Switch Touch edition is established in the cited beta instructions. The documented Advanced Access offer was a PC/Mac pre-purchase promotion; the existence of console editions does not make them a way into that beta.
