The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 leak report published on November 25, 2024, pointed to Japanese-inspired Battle Pass designs and crossovers with Godzilla and Disney’s Big Hero 6. Epic’s December 1 reveal later confirmed the season’s supernatural Japanese-inspired theme, Baymax in the Battle Pass, and a Godzilla Evolved Outfit arriving through quests. Chapter 6 Season 1 has since ended.
What did the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 leak show?
On November 25, 2024, ComicBook.com reported that Chapter 6 Battle Pass key art had appeared online. The outlet said the art suggested Japanese-inspired designs and pointed to crossovers involving Godzilla and Disney’s Big Hero 6 character Baymax. These were indications drawn from leaked art, not an Epic announcement at the time.
Two days later, GameSpot’s Chapter 6 preview discussed a Japanese-inspired map, Oni masks, and other reported possibilities while separating leaks from official information. Its December 1 launch date was still described as expected before the season began. Read the contemporary coverage as a record of what was circulating, rather than confirmation of every reported detail.
ComicBook.com’s November 25 leak report and GameSpot’s November 27 preview provide the pre-launch context.

Which leak details did Epic confirm?
Epic officially revealed the season on December 1, 2024, under the title Chapter 6 Season 1: 鬼 HUNTERS (Demon Hunters). The announcement confirmed a new island with cherry blossoms and supernatural themes, along with named locations including Warrior’s Watch, Flooded Frogs, Shogun’s Solitude, Seaport City, Magic Mosses, and Nightshift Forest. It also introduced The Great Turtle.
The crossover indications were borne out in the official Battle Pass lineup: Epic listed Disney’s Hero Baymax as an outfit. Epic also said the Godzilla Evolved Outfit would become available through Battle Pass quests in January. That distinguishes the two confirmed details: Baymax was a pass outfit, while Godzilla’s outfit was tied to quests and a later January release.
