It added weekly artist-themed locations and loot, a four-week Remix Pass, and a live-event finale; it was not a permanent Chapter 2 mode.
What was Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix?
Epic described Chapter 2 Remix as a return to the Chapter 2 Island, reimagined with changing locations and loot over the course of the season. Its weekly updates tied parts of the map to Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. The season was a brief 2024 Battle Royale event, rather than a lasting alternative mode. Epic’s season announcement laid out the original plan.
When did Chapter 2 Remix start and end?
The season ran from November 2 through November 30, 2024. Epic scheduled the Remix: The Finale live event for November 30 at 2 PM ET and said the season would end at 10 PM ET that day. Those dates and times describe the completed 2024 season, not a current schedule. Epic’s finale announcement gave the event timing.
What changed on the Chapter 2 Remix map?
The island’s featured locations shifted week by week, with character encounters and themed loot announced for each spotlight. Epic’s details described the planned 2024 gameplay:

Which artists were part of Fortnite Remix?
Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD were the season’s four headline artist spotlights. Snoop’s appearance included the Doggpound location; Eminem and Ice Spice had themed locations and Mythic weapons; and the last week honored Juice WRLD with WRLD Point. In its November 1, 2024 announcement, Epic quoted Snoop Dogg saying the collaboration was a way to share his music and culture with a new generation. Epic also quoted Carmela Wallace, identified as Juice WRLD’s mother, describing the in-game tribute as a way of bringing people together through games and music. Epic’s announcement includes both statements.
What was in the Remix Pass?
Epic announced a shortened, four-week Remix Pass with over 70 in-game rewards. At the time, it cost 950 V-Bucks or was included with Fortnite Crew, and progression could earn back up to 1,000 V-Bucks. These are the pass terms Epic announced for the 2024 season, not a current offer. The pass included the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined Kicks, but their release timing changed.

What is Fortnite Kicks, and what changed during Remix?
Kicks is Fortnite’s cosmetic category for footwear. Epic’s initial lineup named Nike, Jordan, and Fortnite-original designs. In a November 12, 2024 update to its season post, Epic said Kicks would no longer release in v32.10 as originally planned. Players could still unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but could not equip them until a new date. That update concerns the 2024 rollout; the cited announcement does not establish current availability of those cosmetics.

Was Fortnite Reload part of Chapter 2 Remix?
Reload was a separate Fortnite mode, not the main Chapter 2 Remix Battle Royale season. Epic said Fortnite Reload Desert Drop launched on November 2, 2024, with an Oasis map and Solo Ranked and Unranked modes. Its launch coincided with Remix, but it should not be confused with the season’s remixed Chapter 2 Island.
Can you play Chapter 2 Remix now?
The season ended on November 30, 2024. Epic’s cited announcements establish its historical schedule and original pass terms, but do not establish whether a replay is available in the current Fortnite build or whether particular Remix cosmetics can now be obtained. Check current official Fortnite announcements for present-day availability rather than treating the 2024 pass or event schedule as active.
