Fortnite’s Kaiju No. 8 Item Shop promotion featured Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, and Kikoru Shinomiya. The official anime site gave the sale window as January 25, 2025, at 09:00 through February 1, 2025, at 08:59 Japan time; that window has passed, and the announcement does not establish whether the items have returned.
Which Kaiju No. 8 characters appeared in Fortnite?
The official Kaiju No. 8 anime site announced that Japan Defense Force members Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, and Kikoru Shinomiya had appeared in the Fortnite Item Shop. Its announcement, published January 25, 2025, is available on the official Kaiju No. 8 site.
When did the Fortnite collaboration run?
The official announcement specified a Japan-time sale period: January 25, 2025, at 09:00 to February 1, 2025, at 08:59. That promotion period is over. The page gives no regional schedule beyond Japan, so those times should not be treated as a confirmed schedule for other locations.
There is a date discrepancy in the available listings: the official page was published January 25 and gives that date as the Japan-time start, while Layer Licensing’s collaboration tracker lists January 26, 2025, as the release date. The dates refer to different sources; the official page is the clearest source for the stated sale window.

The official sale window ended February 1, 2025, Japan time. Although the announcement links to Fortnite’s Item Shop, that historical link does not show that the cosmetics are currently available. The sources do not establish a later return or another collaboration, so check the live Item Shop for current listings rather than assuming these items can still be purchased.
