The listed excerpts convey the broad positive response without making it unanimous. PlayStation Universe called it “An utterly superlative remastering effort” in a review dated January 26, 2016. Multiplayer.it described it as “an excellent porting of an already terrific game” in a review dated December 21, 2015. These are individual reviewers’ opinions, not official descriptions or proof that all critics agreed.
What is included in the PS4 remaster?
Sony announced the PS4 release for February 9, 2016. The remaster includes all three DLC packs from the original game: the Spy Pack, Maid Pack and Military Pack. GameSpot’s review excerpt says the remastered game looks and plays better, but the available source does not quantify resolution or frame rate, or provide a detailed comparison of inputs. Choose the PS4 version if you want the remastered presentation and the three named DLC packs included in that edition. The Vita version is the original platform; the sources cited here do not show that either version has categorically better controls, nor do they provide enough technical detail to settle a resolution or frame-rate comparison. The central attraction is the same distinctive premise: manipulating gravity to travel through a three-dimensional world.
