Mavuika debuted in Genshin Impact Version 5.3, which launched on January 1, 2025. She was featured in the update’s first Event Wish phase alongside Citlali. HoYoverse’s announcements confirm that release window, but the available sources do not establish who first leaked it or what the original leak said.

When did Mavuika release in Genshin Impact?

Mavuika became available with Version 5.3 on January 1, 2025. HoYoverse announced the update date on December 20, 2024, describing the update as Incandescent Ode of Resurrection. The announcement said, “Version 5.3, Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, will be arriving on January 1.” (PlayStation Blog)

When did Mavuika’s banner start and end?

Mavuika was one of the featured five-star characters in Version 5.3’s Phase I Event Wishes, alongside Citlali. HoYoverse’s Phase I notice, published December 30, 2024, lists the event’s end as January 21, 2025, at 17:59. (HoYoverse Phase I notice)

The update announcement gives January 1 as Version 5.3’s arrival date, so the first phase began with the update. Its end time is the one stated in the official Event Wish notice; the sources cited here do not specify a time zone for that timestamp.

What was confirmed about Mavuika?

HoYoverse identified Mavuika as the Pyro Archon and described her as a playable five-star claymore user. The December 20 announcement also named her and Citlali as characters players could team up with in the story’s final battles. Those details come from the official update announcement, not from a verified record of the original leak.

Was the release window really leaked?

The release window was later confirmed by HoYoverse’s official Version 5.3 and Event Wish announcements. The sources cited here do not identify the original leaker, establish when an initial leak appeared, or document its exact wording. It is therefore accurate to say that the date was officially confirmed, but not to attribute the prediction to a specific leaker or treat an unverified version of the leak as established fact.
