Where is Gestral Village?
Gestral Village is an Act 1 settlement you reach from The Continent. The available area guide does not give a turn-by-turn route. It notes that the game has no in-game coordinates or minimap, so use named Expedition Flags or a community map to orient yourself. The guide describes the village as the game’s largest concentration of optional content; that is its characterization, not a measured comparison. Area guide and map.

What should you do in Gestral Village?
Complete the arena tournament before leaving it behind
The village’s arena tournament is the main timing-sensitive activity: the area guide identifies its reward as missable. It does not establish the tournament’s exact rules, reward conditions, or the point at which the opportunity closes, so treat the reward as a reason to finish the tournament while you are in the village rather than relying on a later return.
Visit the merchants
Gestral Village has several merchants, but a complete, current inventory is not established by the available guides. One older listing places Alexcyclo near the theatre, to the right of the chief’s house. It reports a Sakapatate costume for Sciel costing 1,000 in-game currency, with one in stock, and says Sciel must have been encountered first. What is missable, and what can wait?
The area guide distinguishes the tournament reward from most other village content: the reward is missable, while most content remains accessible later. It also labels the Medalum weapon as missable. The guide does not provide acquisition steps or the precise conditions for either missable, so prioritize the tournament and Medalum during your visit rather than assuming they can be collected afterward.
