A November 2024 DotGG chart by Sora projected 12,020 Primogems for a free-to-play player during Genshin Impact Version 5.2. It also listed 6 Acquaint Fates and 10 Intertwined Fates as separate rewards. These were speculative estimates, not an official HoYoverse total or a guarantee that every player could earn the full amount.
Version 5.2 reward estimates at a glance
DotGG’s November 11, 2024 article presented two scenarios. The currencies are reported separately below; the paid scenario assumes Welkin and Gnostic Hymn and is not a free-to-play estimate.
| Scenario | Primogems | Acquaint Fates | Intertwined Fates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free-to-play estimate | 12,020 | 6 | 10 |
| With Welkin and Gnostic Hymn | 16,480 | 10 | 10 |
These figures are Sora’s estimates in the DotGG Version 5.2 chart article. Keeping Fate types distinct matters: the chart does not present all rewards as one interchangeable currency total.
Why the chart is a projection, not an official count
The article describes Version 5.2 as a 42-day version expected to run from November 20, 2024, to January 1, 2025. Both the dates and reward totals belong to the article’s forecast context, not an official guarantee. Sora says the estimate is based on events and gameplay in previous versions and is “by no means official.”

The calculation is explicitly speculative. It should be read as an estimate of what its assumptions might yield, not as a promise that every account could collect every listed reward. The available article information establishes aggregate scenario totals, but not a complete reward-by-reward calculation, so there is no basis here for assigning precise portions of the totals to individual activities.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why another Version 5.2 figure is much lower
A Version 5.2 entry in the Genshin Impact Wiki event-reward index lists 2,880 Primogems. That index explicitly excludes Battle Pass rewards and web events, so it measures a narrower set of rewards than DotGG’s broader estimate. The 2,880 figure therefore does not directly confirm or disprove DotGG’s totals; the available information does not provide enough detail for a line-by-line reconciliation.
Quick Recap

How to interpret the figures
- Use 12,020 Primogems, 6 Acquaint Fates, and 10 Intertwined Fates for the chart’s F2P scenario.
- Use 16,480 Primogems, 10 Acquaint Fates, and 10 Intertwined Fates only for its scenario that includes Welkin and Gnostic Hymn.
- Treat both totals as historical projections for Version 5.2, not confirmed HoYoverse reward counts.
