The route is gated by keycards, wristbands, corrosive, and story progression; the three safes are opened with separate clues.
Where the three Quartz pieces are

After collecting all three, return to the central hall and place them in the exit door.
Moon Quartz: Chairman’s office safe
- From the central hall, explore the medication room and obtain the West Wing keycard.
- Enter the West Wing, move through the administrative offices, and continue upstairs to the Chairman’s office.
- Inspect the office files and the manager/secretary scene. Use the resulting clue to set the sun, moon, and star panels on the large safe.
- Take the Moon Quartz from the opened safe.
The route can involve infected and limited inventory space. Use safe-room item boxes to deposit supplies you do not need for the immediate route, and save when convenient. Enemy patrols can depend on game progress, so stealth, avoidance, and combat are options rather than a guaranteed sequence.
Sun Quartz: Lead Researcher’s office safe
- Progress into the East Wing and reach the Lead Researcher’s office.
- Read the Lead Researcher’s Message for the clue to the padlock, then use corrosive to remove it.
- Inspect Lead Researcher’s Pictures 1 and 2 and combine their picture clues to determine the safe combination.
- Open the safe and collect the Sun Quartz.
The blood-analysis puzzle and wristband progression are access steps on this route; they do not replace the corrosive or picture clues needed for the safe.

Star Quartz: Security Manager’s office
- Continue the West Wing progression and obtain the access needed for the Isolation Ward. The route also requires the missing organs and higher-level wristband access before the ward can be opened.
- Enter the Security Manager’s office with the Level 3 wristband and examine the torn notebook.
- Fold the notebook page to reveal the sequence: Star, Star, Moon, Sun.
- Use that sequence with the safe’s braille symbol inscriptions and take the Star Quartz.
The Star Quartz completes the three-piece Care Center exit objective; a further story transition follows.
Recommended route and preparation
- Get the West Wing keycard after exploring the medication room, then collect the Moon Quartz in the Chairman’s office.
- Advance through the East Wing, complete its access progression, and retrieve the Sun Quartz from the Lead Researcher’s office.
- Continue the wristband and missing-organ progression to unlock the Isolation Ward, then retrieve the Star Quartz in the Security Manager’s office.
- Return to the central hall and fit all three Quartz pieces into the exit door.
- Keep room for key items: Grace’s inventory is limited, and safe-room item boxes let you set aside excess supplies.
- Save at convenient opportunities, particularly before pushing into unfamiliar sections.
- Do not assume an enemy patrol will follow one fixed pattern; respond to the situation in your playthrough.
About the game
Capcom lists Resident Evil Requiem for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Epic. Check the platform and edition against your own region before purchasing. Capcom announcements give different release dates for different markets: the global-store announcement is dated 2026-04-17, while a regional announcement gives 2026-02-27. Those dates should not be treated as one universal release date. Capcom reported on 2026-03-22 that the game had surpassed six million units sold worldwide; that is a dated milestone, not a current sales total.
