For the Mithras faction, First Recon sends you to three landmarks: the gas station at 170,121, the convenience store at 171,118, and the demolished building at 170,116. Visit each until the task registers, then return to Handshake. These coordinates come from 2024 walkthroughs; check the active task briefing and tactical map first, since Update 0.4 changed the task system and map.
First Recon locations on Mithras
The older Mithras walkthroughs identify three reconnaissance objectives. Their coordinates are useful starting points, but the current in-game task briefing and tactical map should take precedence if they show different locations.
| Objective | Older Mithras coordinates | What the guides report |
|---|---|---|
| Gas station | 170,121 | Beyond the town’s main gate, near fields and the road; hostile NPCs may be in the area. Insider Gaming, April 30, 2024 |
| Convenience store | 171,118 | Near the town center; hostile NPCs may be nearby. Insider Gaming, April 30, 2024 |
| Demolished building | 170,116 | Near Bravo 1 Landing Zone. The Insider Gaming author reported that this objective did not display a map marker in their run. Insider Gaming, April 30, 2024 |
How to complete the task
- Open First Recon’s active task briefing and tactical map. Confirm the objectives and use any current approximate objective locations shown there.
- Travel to the gas station, convenience store, and demolished building in whichever order suits your route. At each landmark, move close enough for the objective to register; older guides describe proximity as sufficient.
- Check the task objectives before leaving each area. If the demolished building is not marked on your map, use the briefing and the older coordinate, 170,116, as a reference rather than assuming the task is broken.
- Once all three objectives are complete, return to Handshake to finish First Recon.
What changed in the current task system
Madfinger Games’ March 18, 2026 Update 0.4 devlog says the task and vendor-leveling systems were redesigned. The tactical map now shows available tasks and approximate objective locations, and task rewards were rebalanced toward money. The devlog does not publish revised Mithras coordinates or First Recon’s current reward values, so use the live briefing and reward panel rather than treating older guide details as current.
Are the commonly listed rewards still accurate?
Not confirmed. Two April 30, 2024 guides list an MOC II, TC-2000, $3,400, 400 experience, and 100 Handshake reputation for First Recon: Insider Gaming and Prima Games. Those are historical figures from before the reward rework announced in Update 0.4. Check the task’s current reward panel in-game for what it gives now.

Who gets the new onboarding sequence?
A July 2026 onboarding FAQ says First Recon is one of five tasks in a new onboarding sequence available only to completely fresh accounts. Wiping a character on an existing account does not grant that sequence. See the official onboarding FAQ for details.
