Destiny 2’s Guardian Games All-Stars ran from March 5 to the weekly reset on March 26, 2024, during Season of the Wish. The event is over: its original Event Card and unclaimed rewards are no longer available. This guide explains how the event worked and what Bungie specified about earning and keeping its Allstar Vector Skimmer.
When did Guardian Games 2024 end?
Guardian Games All-Stars began March 5, 2024, and concluded at the weekly reset on March 26. It took place during Season of the Wish, which ran from November 28, 2023, through the weekly reset on June 4, 2024. Bungie’s Season of the Wish overview describes the season’s Dreaming City story involving the last Ahamkara, Riven.

Bungie instructed players to claim completed Event Card objectives and available rewards before the event ended. After the March 26 reset, the Event Card and unclaimed rewards were no longer available. The sources cited here do not establish whether any particular 2024 reward later returned by another route.
How did Guardian Games 2024 work?
Start with Eva Levante
Players began with Eva Levante in the Tower. For new players, Bungie’s event preview described an introductory quest and a class item needed to enter the competition. The first Medallion and further quests unlocked through that onboarding path. Eva also offered event bounties. Bungie’s February 29, 2024 preview covers the event’s opening and the Allstar Vector; the Guardian Games Help guide outlines the recurring event structure.

Earn Medallions and deposit them
Hunters, Warlocks and Titans competed for class standings. Players earned Medallions through eligible activities and event cards, then deposited them at the Tower Podium to contribute to their class. The Podium and class flags showed standings. Exact activities and reward details can vary by year, so the general guide should not be treated as a complete list of 2024-specific activities.

Bungie’s Help guide describes eligible card activities, including higher-difficulty content and endgame PvE or Trials for relevant cards. The Event Card also tracked event challenges, rewards and title progress while the event was active.
How did players get the Allstar Vector Skimmer?
The Allstar Vector was the event’s new Skimmer vehicle. It occupied the same vehicle slot as Sparrows and could be used to travel, perform tricks and grind rails. Bungie’s Destiny 2 Community Team described the feature this way: “Skimmers will live in the same slot as your Sparrows and can be used to do tricks, grind rails, or just stylishly skim around looking incredibly cool.”
Eva provided the Skimmer after players progressed through the onboarding quest. Bungie specified that completing the Drop In quest before Guardian Games ended made the Allstar Vector permanent. Because the event and its original Event Card have expired, this guide cannot establish a current way to earn that 2024 unlock; the cited sources also do not confirm whether it has since returned.
What event issues did Bungie report in March 2024?
Bungie’s March 14 support notice reported that Skimmer grinding worked with crouch toggle rather than hold crouch at that time. The notice also addressed a misleading event-information redirect to The Witch Queen, stating that the expansion was not required for Guardian Games All-Stars. These were contemporaneous support notes, not confirmation of current Skimmer behavior.

Bungie documented a Guardian Games Collector’s Medal offer for players who completed the Gold Event Challenge by March 26, 2024; the stated ordering window ran from March 5 through April 30, 2024. That was a past offer, and the cited sources do not establish present availability.

A life-size Skimmer replica was described as a prize for first-place teams in the Guardian Games Cup, not as a retail item generally available to players. Bungie’s March 28 wrap-up reported $169,054 raised through the community campaign and an additional $5,462 earned and committed by the Bungie Foundation during its “Bungie Bounty For Good” livestream, for more than $174,000 total for Direct Relief and the International Rescue Committee. Those are fundraising figures, not player-count or participation statistics.
