This guide lists the chapter locations by outfit name, explains how to spot the boxes, and separates found outfits from those granted after the story. Chapter hints are spoiler-light, but they may reveal areas and branching choices.
How to spot outfit boxes
Outfit boxes are collectibles, and some sit off the main route or behind openings. They glow pink; Star-Lord’s visor also marks them as yellow-outlined objects. Keep an eye on the visor when exploring side paths. Windows Central’s outfit walkthrough describes these cues and gives route-level examples.

Windows Central notes that this location may depend on whom you choose to sell to Lady Hellbender; its walkthrough found the outfit after choosing to sell Rocket, so don’t assume the same route applies to every choice.

Preorder and Digital Deluxe early unlocks
Xbox Wire described the Throwback Guardians Outfit Pack as an “early unlock” for preordering the game. The pack includes one outfit per Guardian:
- Team-Lord (Star-Lord)
- Black Vortex (Gamora)
- Thanos Imperative (Drax)
- The Stinger (Rocket)
- Impaler (Groot)
Windows Central says players who did not receive these outfits early can find their boxes in-game; players who received them through preorder will not find those boxes. In other words, the bonus changes when the outfits are received; the cited wording does not establish that they are exclusive. Xbox Wire’s Digital Deluxe description also lists Sun-Lord and City-Lord as early unlocks and a Social-Lord Outfit for Star-Lord as a digital download bonus. How to unlock Fashion Passion
Finding the chapter outfits alone does not complete the Fashion Passion trophy. According to Push Square’s trophy instructions, finish the game, start New Game+, and equip the outfits granted after completion. Follow the trophy instructions in the guide for the required equipping steps.
