At Halssius Conflux, clear the debris from the rotating floor mechanism with Nature’s Grasp, use Stab on the attached post to turn its metal frame, then align the openings with the floor symbol picked out by the central statue’s beam. Repeat the beam-and-symbol match as new rings appear; the puzzle has three phases.
Where to find Halssius Conflux
The Ancient Ruins puzzle is in the Hernand/Serkis Estate area, southeast of St. Halssius’s House of Healing. Use the House of Healing as your landmark; walkthroughs differ on the precise nearby route. PowerPyx and Shacknews describe the location and setup.

Clear the mechanism and make it rotate
- Use Nature’s Grasp to move loose pillars or debris off the rotating floor mechanism.
- Use Stab on the post attached to the metal frame to unlock or turn it.
- Rotate the frame using the current on-screen control prompt. Button mappings vary by platform.
Match the beam to the floor symbol
Watch the beam from the central statue. It highlights an object held by one of the outer statues. Find the corresponding symbol on the floor, then rotate the frame until its openings cover that symbol or group of symbols. An alignment reveals additional rings and targets; use the beam and visible symbols to determine the next alignment.
What to expect in each phase
The puzzle has three phases. Guides agree that scales feature in the second phase and horse symbols in the final phase. They do not agree on the name of the first target: PowerPyx calls it an oval mirror, VULKK a coin, Shacknews a portrait, and PC Gamer a plate or shield. Those are differing guide descriptions, not a dependable text-only sequence. Follow the object lit by the beam in your game and match its visible floor icon.

Collect the reward
After the alignments are complete, the central structure opens and you can collect the reward. Walkthroughs describe it as an Abyss Cresset or an Abyss Artifact, so check the item name shown in your game rather than relying on either guide label as definitive.
