The launch paired the watch with a planned Gucci Arcade game. Fnatic now labels the collaboration sold out, though that does not establish the availability of every resale listing.
What was the Gucci x Fnatic Dive watch?
Fnatic announced the collaboration on 25 June 2020, describing it as a meeting of watchmaking and gaming and saying the design drew inspiration from its League of Legends team. The watch applied Fnatic’s black-and-orange identity to Gucci’s Dive line. Fnatic’s launch announcement called it a Swiss Made, 40mm watch with a stainless-steel case, black dial, black-and-orange bezel, Super-LumiNova accents and a black rubber strap embossed with Gucci branding. The caseback was engraved with FNATIC and each watch’s individual number.
Fnatic stated that the collaboration had 200-metre water resistance. That is the announced specification for this 2020 edition, not a specification to carry over to other Gucci Dive watches.
How many were made?
Fnatic’s official launch announcement says “only one hundred individually numbered pieces” were made. A separate Chinese-language promotional report gave a figure of 15, but the available primary announcement does not explain that discrepancy. The 100-piece figure is therefore the clearest primary-source launch claim; the reason for the conflicting report is unresolved.

How did the collaboration connect the watch to gaming?
The campaign extended beyond the physical watch. Gucci announced a Gucci Dive game for Gucci Arcade in its app: players would guide a submarine carrying Fnatic’s logo through an underwater cave, collecting coins and avoiding obstacles. The launch announcement said the game would arrive in the coming weeks; it does not establish when it later became available or whether it can still be played.
Fnatic’s partner page quotes Piero Braga, identified there as CEO of Gucci Timepieces: “The result is a truly unique timepiece that combines Swiss watchmaking expertise and Gucci creativity with Fnatic’s iconic colouring and logo.”

What did Fnatic report about the launch?
Fnatic’s Gucci partner page says the watch sold out in Europe within 48 hours and in Asia within one week. The same page reports 2M+ views within a week and readership of 150M+ through 25+ articles. Fnatic does not state the calendar year or methodology for those campaign figures on that page, so they should be read as the organization’s reported results rather than independently verified measurements.
Fnatic’s launches page currently labels the Gucci Dive Watch collaboration sold out. That supports the edition’s sold-out status on Fnatic’s page, but it does not verify the stock, authenticity or price of individual resale listings.

How does the Fnatic edition differ from current Gucci Dive watches?
Current Gucci Dive models are separate products. For example, Gucci’s US page for style 830413 IEZA0 8489 describes a model with a black-and-grey nylon strap, black dial and automatic movement, and states 30ATM water resistance. Gucci’s Dive collection page describes Swiss-made automatic models with 300-metre water resistance. Those current-model details do not apply to the 2020 Fnatic edition.

Gucci’s collection page describes current models, while its watch instructions say the collection watch is not suitable for deep dives. A higher water-resistance figure on a current model is not evidence that it is categorically better than the Fnatic edition; it is a different watch with different stated specifications.
