Each takes a generic Cellar Key, so bring two to open both. Equip a gas mask before entering the Ravine cellar, which walkthroughs describe as toxic.
Before you start
- Check Xavier’s quest list. Guides disagree about the prerequisite for Hidden Secret: Nerd’s Chalk names New Cargo, while All Things How names Power Supply Maintenance. Check which quests are available in your own progression rather than relying on either prerequisite as universal.
- Bring two generic Cellar Keys if you intend to unlock both entrances. The guides say each lock consumes one key. Cellar Fence Key and Cellar Crossroads Key are different items, not substitutes. See the key reference.
- Equip a gas mask before descending through the Ravine entrance.

How to find and unlock the Ravine cellar
- On the Warehouse map, head to the large house south of the Ravine label.
- Enter the house and inspect the floorboards for a wooden trapdoor. The entrance is inside, not an obvious exterior cellar door.
- Equip your gas mask before opening the trapdoor and descending.
- Use one generic Cellar Key to unlock the entrance, then go down and clear the area before looting.
The toxic-gas warning comes from walkthroughs rather than an official game source, so treat it as practical preparation for the route.

How to find and unlock the Western Factory cellar
- Follow the Western Factory perimeter to its western-most corner.
- Look for a small enclosure surrounded by fences or barricades. Pass through or break through the barrier to reach it.
- Use your second generic Cellar Key at the cellar entrance.
- Clear the area, loot it, and extract when you are ready.
Quest rewards and follow-up
Nerd’s Chalk lists 1,500 XP and 1,000 in-game currency for Hidden Secret and names Multi-Talented as a follow-up. All Things How also describes Multi-Talented and says an AP Bullet unlock follows it. These are guide-reported details, not confirmed current-build reward data; check the in-game quest screen if exact rewards or unlocks matter to you.
