Highroad Cave is an optional Limgrave dungeon in Elden Ring. Find its entrance in the cliff beside the river below Saintsbridge, then descend to the waterfall chamber to collect the Shamshir and reach the Guardian Golem, whose defeat awards the Blue Dancer Charm.
Where to find Highroad Cave
Start near Saintsbridge in Limgrave and descend to the river. Follow the water beneath the bridge, watching the cliffs for the cave entrance. The entrance is down at river level, not on top of Saintsbridge. Cave-specific location details come from secondary walkthroughs; the official Elden Ring site confirms the game but does not document this dungeon.

How to reach the waterfall chamber
- Enter the cave and activate the Site of Grace.
- Descend through the chambers by following the ledges. Explore side paths if you want extra pickups; walkthrough listings include Smithing Stones, runes, crafting materials, and a Furlcalling Finger Remedy.
- In the large waterfall chamber, look for a platform with the Shamshir and collect it.
- Continue through the passage beneath a waterfall to reach the boss area.
The direct route toward the waterfall chamber avoids making every side path a required part of reaching the boss. Taking time to explore can yield additional loot, but the side-route pickups are not necessary to complete the dungeon.
How to defeat the Guardian Golem
The Guardian Golem is the optional boss at the end of the route. A walkthrough-recommended approach is to attack its legs to stagger it, then strike its chest. Treat this as guide advice rather than a tested guarantee: openings and outcomes can vary with your build and timing.

What Highroad Cave rewards
Shamshir
The Shamshir is a notable weapon pickup on a platform in the waterfall chamber. It is separate from the boss reward, so collect it while exploring that area rather than expecting it to drop from the Guardian Golem.
Blue Dancer Charm
Defeating the Guardian Golem awards the Blue Dancer Charm. It raises physical attack power in relation to carried equipment load: the less equipment weight you carry, the more relevant its effect is. It is therefore a better fit for a light-load setup than for a character carrying heavier gear. No exact scaling thresholds are established here.
