Does Helldivers 2 have Halo ODST gear on Xbox?
Yes. Xbox announced the game’s Xbox Series X|S release for August 26, 2025, on the same date the Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond arrived. Xbox described Helldivers 2 as supporting cross-play across platforms, and the official Xbox podcast confirmed that PlayStation and PC players can also use the Warbond. The pack is a separate in-game content release accompanying the Xbox launch, not gear reserved for Xbox owners. Xbox Wire’s launch announcement and the official Xbox Podcast cover those details.
What is in the Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond?
The Warbond includes four weapons, two armor sets, two capes, player cards, the Rookie title, and a Mean Green vehicle pattern. Its weapons are based on Halo: ODST equipment, while the armor and cosmetic rewards bring the ODST look into Helldivers 2. Xbox Wire and PlayStation.Blog list the contents.
Weapons
- MA5C Assault Rifle: Has an ammunition counter and built-in compass.
- M7S SMG: Uses caseless ammunition and has a non-removable suppressor.
- M90A Shotgun: Includes a mounted flashlight.
- M6C/SOCOM Pistol: Includes a laser sight and flashlight. Xbox described it as Helldivers 2’s first suppressed pistol in its launch announcement; that is a claim made at the time, not a statement about the game’s current weapon inventory.
Armor and passive
The two armor sets are A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon. Both use the Feet First passive, which reduces movement noise, prevents leg injuries, and increases the range for finding points of interest by 30%, according to the launch descriptions. The Recon armor is presented as sleeker and stealthier in appearance; the sources do not establish a separate armor rating or gameplay advantage compared with Helljumper.

Capes and other cosmetics
The capes are Honored Heirloom and Eye of the Clandestine. The pack also contains ODST-themed player cards, the Rookie title, and the Mean Green pattern for the Hellpod, shuttle, exosuit, and FRV.
How much does the ODST Warbond cost?
The launch announcements set the price at 1,500 Super Credits. Xbox said Super Credits can be found in-game or purchased separately. Warbond rewards are unlocked gradually through play; Warbonds do not expire, and this one cannot be unlocked with a Premium Warbond Token. The pack requires the base game, Super Credits, and progression. These are the terms reported in the 2025 announcements; check the in-game Acquisitions Center for current availability and price. Are Halo characters part of Helldivers 2?
No. The crossover brings ODST-inspired equipment and designs into Helldivers 2; it does not place Halo characters in the game’s world. Corrinne Robinson, Halo Franchise Development Director at Halo Studios, explained: “our characters are not in the Helldivers world, but it’s like they’re representations of their armor, which are popular with Halo fans.” The official Xbox podcast features Robinson and Helldivers 2 Game Director Mikael Eriksson discussing the crossover.

The launch and crossover announcements describe digital rewards inside Helldivers 2. They do not establish a physical Xbox edition, accessory, collectible, or other physical product connected to this release.
