Did GameStop leak the Silksong price?
On August 30, 2025, Insider Gaming reported that GameStop had listed the Nintendo Switch version for $19.99. The report said the listing was later taken down and that attempts to check out at the displayed price reportedly did not go through. That made it a short-lived, unconfirmed retailer listing—not a completed sale or official announcement.
What price did Team Cherry confirm?
On September 1, 2025, Team Cherry confirmed the digital launch price as $19.99 USD, €19.99 EUR, and ¥2300 JPY. The announcement, reproduced by PC Gamer, also set the release date for September 4, 2025. These are the currencies and amounts Team Cherry stated; they should not be treated as a conversion formula for other regions.
Why do current listings show different prices?
The current US storefront listings in the cited sources are not the same product format: PlayStation lists the PS4/PS5 digital game at $19.99, while GameStop lists a PS5 edition at $39.99 and identifies Fangamer as its brand and publisher.
