Launcher targeting when using another player’s launcher, and disconnections in Illuminate missions. A separate Arrowhead patch page carries the same date but is numbered 01.002.002, so the date alone can be misleading.

There is a second, distinct January 14 entry: Arrowhead Game Studios’ official notes are titled PATCH 01.002.002. That page lists crash fixes. It is not the same patch record as 01.002.005, and the two change lists should not be combined.

- W.A.S.P. Launcher targeting: Fixed an issue where targeting did not work properly when using an STA-X3 W.A.S.P. Launcher owned by another player.
- Illuminate mission connections: Reduced disconnections in Illuminate missions.
These are the changes as described in the SteamDB patch record. It gives no measured improvement rate or guarantee that the fixes eliminated every player’s crash, aiming, targeting, or connection problem.

When searching for the January 14 notes, check the patch identifier as well as the date. That avoids attributing one entry’s fixes to the other.
