To link Ubisoft to Xbox, sign in to the Ubisoft account you want to use, open Account Information, select Linked accounts, then choose Link beside Xbox and follow the sign-in prompts. “Ubisoft Game Pass” can mean PC Game Pass access to Ubisoft games on a Windows PC or Ubisoft+ Premium on an Xbox console; those are different services and devices.
Link your Xbox account to Ubisoft
- Sign in to the Ubisoft account you intend to connect on Ubisoft’s Account Information page.
- Open Linked accounts, find Xbox, and select Link.
- Complete the sign-in or authorization pop-up with the Xbox account you want to associate. Check that both account identities are correct before confirming.
You can also launch a Ubisoft game and sign in to Ubisoft Connect when prompted to link an account. Ubisoft’s published guidance describes the linked-accounts and sign-in flows; it does not establish a universal Xbox-console activation sequence or specific console menu labels.
Which Ubisoft subscription or game access do you mean?
| Service | Where it applies | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Ubisoft games included with PC Game Pass | Windows PC, through Ubisoft Connect PC and the Xbox app for Windows PC; access requires an active Game Pass subscription. | Install Ubisoft Connect, sign in to your Ubisoft account, and claim the games you want to play. Ubisoft’s PC Game Pass instructions explain the claim and access requirements. |
| Ubisoft+ Premium | Ubisoft lists Xbox consoles as supported. This is separate from the Ubisoft-game catalog available through PC Game Pass. | Check the current Ubisoft+ offer for your country and subscription route. See Ubisoft’s subscription-service information. |
PC Game Pass does not, by itself, mean that Ubisoft+ Premium is unlocked on an Xbox console. Ubisoft says subscription availability and benefits can vary by plan, platform, purchase route, age, and country; third-party platform access may require account linking and additional fees.
Fix common Xbox linking problems
“This profile is already linked to another user”
This message means the Xbox account is linked to a different Ubisoft account. Ubisoft’s guidance is to unlink the Ubisoft account currently connected to Xbox, then link the account you intend to use. However, if that Ubisoft account was previously linked to an Xbox account, Ubisoft says it can only be linked again to that same Xbox account. Contact Ubisoft Support if you need to change which Xbox account is connected. See Ubisoft’s account-linking guidance.

Consider the consequences before unlinking
Ubisoft warns that linking or unlinking accounts can permanently affect games and subscriptions. Unlinking may make content purchased through a platform store inaccessible. To access Ubisoft-account content again, relink the same platform account. Verify the accounts and understand the possible effect on your content before removing a link. Ubisoft’s unlinking guidance covers these consequences.
