Greenshine Stone Slabs are hidden across several regions of Horizon Forbidden West, often inside Sunken Caverns, behind Firegleam or Metal Flower barriers, or along climbing routes. Use the regional landmarks below to narrow your search, then check the linked map images for exact pins: the descriptions are route clues, not coordinates, and some areas require traversal or quest progress.
What Greenshine Stone Slabs are used for
Greenshine comes in five forms: Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, Clusters, and Slabs. Gamer Guides categorizes the Slab as Legendary. Greenshine is used for selected weapon and outfit upgrades and can also be exchanged with merchants for items such as rare coils, weaves, and machine parts. Where to look, region by region
Gamepur’s regional guide provides map-reference images alongside landmark clues. Use those images to identify the exact spot; the text below helps you recognize the area once you reach the region. The locations listed are practical route leads, not a verified exhaustive inventory or a slab count.
The Daunt
- Check near the wooden bridge at the start of the area.
- Search the two Sunken Caverns in the Daunt.
- Look among rocks near a Burrower Site.
- Follow the climbing route up the tower associated with The Twilight Path.
No Man’s Land and Plainsong
- Search around a Rebel Camp and the No Man’s Land and Restless Weald Relic Ruins.
- Check beyond Firegleam and Metal Flower barriers where you have the tools to clear them.
- Look around the crashed plane, The Drumroot, and the Drowned Gullet Sunken Cavern.
The Still Sands and Shining Wastes
- Explore the Shining Wastes Sunken Cavern and areas associated with the Sea of Sand and Signal Spike quests.
- Check a Tallneck patrol route, The Gouge, and nearby machine sites.
- Inspect elevated routes and buried spots rather than searching only at ground level.
The Isle of Spires and the Long Coast
- Search near Runner’s Wild and the Long Coast Relic Ruins, as well as Sunken Caverns.
- Look for Firegleam and Metal Flower barriers that open additional routes.
- Check the skyscraper climbing route for elevated finds.

How to search efficiently
- Open the regional map reference. Match its pin or image to the named landmark before searching nearby terrain.
- Check access barriers. Firegleam and Metal Flowers can block routes; return after you have the relevant ability to clear them.
- Search vertically and underground. Caverns, towers, cliffs, buried areas, and skyscraper routes are recurring location patterns.
- Account for quest access. If a clue points to a quest area, progress far enough to reach that location before concluding the Slab is absent.
- Track visited spots. A checklist or your own notes can help distinguish an unexplored lead from a place you have already searched.
Is this every Greenshine Stone Slab?
The cited location guide groups many finds by region, but the available location information does not establish a reliable total count. Use its maps as a practical route guide rather than proof that every possible Slab is listed.
