“Twitch Prime” is the former name many people still use for Prime Gaming, Amazon’s current service. It includes select game content and Twitch perks with Amazon Prime and Prime Video, where available. The rewards are not all automatic: the monthly Twitch channel subscription must be claimed again each month, and individual game offers can have their own account-linking or installation steps.
What rewards does Twitch Prime—now Prime Gaming—include?
Amazon Customer Service describes Prime Gaming as included with Amazon Prime and Prime Video. Its benefits include select game content and Twitch perks, with availability and offers varying by country. The benefits Amazon lists include:

How does the monthly Twitch channel subscription work?
The monthly subscription is a claim, not an automatically renewing subscription. You can use it on an eligible Partner or Affiliate channel if Twitch subscriptions are available in your location and you have not already used that month’s entitlement. To continue supporting the same channel, claim the benefit again the following month.

Link your Amazon and Twitch accounts
Linking is required to access the Prime Member Perks page. Follow Twitch Support’s account-linking instructions before trying to claim the channel subscription.
Claim the subscription on a channel
- Open an eligible Twitch Partner or Affiliate channel.
- Choose Subscribe.
- Select Subscribe with Prime and confirm. Amazon’s UK help page describes this as selecting the “Subscribe with Prime” box.
Amazon explains the monthly Twitch subscription benefit and its eligibility. Once claimed, it does not renew automatically; make a fresh claim each month if you want to keep subscribing to that channel.

What if you have a Prime trial?
Amazon says Prime Trial members, including Prime Student members, may receive one free channel subscription during a no-cost trial. If you already used a Twitch subscription during an earlier Prime trial, a later no-cost trial does not provide another one.
How do game and in-game rewards work?
Sign in to Prime Gaming and browse the offers currently shown for your account and region. Choose an offer and select Claim; the offer page will explain the next step. Depending on the reward, you may receive a code, follow redemption instructions for a storefront, or connect a game publisher account to Prime Gaming. Amazon’s Prime Gaming help for claiming games and content describes account linking for some offers, including Riot Games titles.

Some claimed PC games require the Amazon Games app: install it, sign in with your Prime credentials, then install the claimed game from your library. Other offers may use a third-party storefront or a different delivery method. Follow the terms shown on the individual offer; a claim does not mean every game uses the same launcher or that every reward is a permanent entitlement.

The option may be missing if subscriptions are unavailable in your location, you are not currently a Prime member, the channel is not a Partner or Affiliate, or you have already claimed that month’s subscription. Account linking is also required to access Prime Member Perks. Check those conditions and the offer availability shown for your region before troubleshooting further.
