An Earned Robux Balance update can take up to 72 hours. A DevEx cash-out is a separate process: Roblox estimates about 10 business days for first-time users or 5 for returning users, plus bank processing time. Start by checking the transaction type and status in My Transactions.
How long each Roblox funds transfer takes
Roblox uses different processes for user-to-user transfers, sale proceeds, balance reporting, and cashing out through DevEx. The estimates below are Roblox Support guidance in its U.S. English help center; they are not independently measured averages or guarantees.

| What you mean by “funds” | Roblox’s timing guidance | What the status means |
|---|---|---|
| Direct Robux transfer to another user | Instant after the recipient accepts an eligible transfer. | The recipient must accept it; requirements such as age checks, parent approval for younger users, regional rules, or transfer limits can affect completion. Roblox Support |
| Experience Pass sale proceeds | Roblox does not state a fixed release duration in its cited support guidance. | Proceeds appear as Pending while held in escrow, then are added to the Robux total after the holding period. Roblox Support |
| Limited or Limited U resale proceeds | The item can have a pre-resale holding period of up to 30 days after purchase; this is not a stated post-sale settlement estimate. | After a sale, proceeds appear as Pending and move to the balance when the holding period ends. Roblox Support |
| Earned Robux Balance update | Up to 72 hours for the Earned Robux Balance to reflect earned transfers or sales. | This is a reporting delay for that balance, not a general wait imposed on every Robux transfer. Roblox Support |
| DevEx request and cash payout | About 10 business days for first-time users and 5 business days for returning users, excluding weekends and holidays; bank processing takes additional time. | These are estimated review and processing times, not a guaranteed date for funds to reach a bank account. First-time participants may take longer. Roblox Support |
| Completed purchase during an outage or maintenance | Most purchases are applied within an hour and at most within 24 hours during a platform issue or maintenance. | This guidance concerns purchases affected by an outage or maintenance, not ordinary pending sale proceeds or transfers. Roblox Support |
If you sent Robux to another user
Check whether the recipient accepted the transfer. Roblox says an accepted eligible transfer is credited instantly; before acceptance, it is not complete. Some direct transfers can be canceled and returned if requirements are unmet. Check the recipient’s notification and transaction status rather than treating the transfer like creator-sale escrow. Roblox Support explains transfer status and eligibility.
Transfer eligibility and limits can depend on age verification, parent approval for younger users, regional rules, and other requirements; Roblox notes that limits may change. The support page’s instant-transfer statement applies in the context of Roblox Plus subscribers and its eligibility requirements, not as a promise that every account can send Robux to anyone at any time.

If Robux from a sale are Pending
Pending means Roblox is holding sale proceeds in escrow during its applicable holding period. For Experience Pass sales, Roblox’s cited support article does not provide a fixed number of days. Check Pending Robux in My Transactions; do not use the separate 72-hour balance-reporting delay as an estimate for when escrow will end. Roblox Support: Pending Robux.
For Limited and Limited U items, distinguish the possible holding period after purchase from settlement after the item is sold. Roblox says an item may be held for up to 30 days after purchase before resale; that figure is not a promise that proceeds will clear within 30 days of a sale.

If your Earned Robux Balance has not updated
Roblox says the Earned Robux Balance may take up to 72 hours to reflect earned transfers or sales. Check My Transactions to confirm what happened and whether the amount is recorded as Pending. The 72-hour figure is specific to the Earned Robux Balance update; it does not mean every incoming transfer is unavailable for that long. Roblox Support: Pending Robux.
If you are waiting for DevEx money
DevEx is for cashing out eligible Earned Robux; it is not a direct Robux transfer between users. Roblox estimates around 10 business days to review and process a first-time request and 5 business days for a returning user, excluding weekends and holidays. First-time requests may take longer. Once Roblox processes the request, the bank or payment provider needs additional time, and Roblox does not give a guaranteed bank-arrival date in the cited guidance. Roblox Support: DevEx.

Where to check the transaction
On the web, open your Robux amount to load My Transactions. Roblox says the page includes incoming and outgoing summaries, purchases, sales of goods, Creator Rewards, and group payouts. The app and Xbox have their own balance views. Roblox Support.
- Open My Transactions and identify whether the entry is a direct transfer, sale, earned-balance update, or DevEx request.
- Read the status: for a direct transfer, verify acceptance; for sale proceeds, look for Pending; for DevEx, distinguish Roblox review from payment processing.
- Apply only the timing guidance for that transaction type. If the entry is affected by a platform outage or maintenance, Roblox says most completed purchases are applied within an hour and no later than 24 hours in that context. Roblox Support.
Protect your account and Robux
Roblox says direct transfers are final and cannot be reversed or canceled after sending. Send Robux only to people you know, and never send Robux to “verify” an account; Roblox says it will never request that. Roblox Support.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
A Delayed Actions notice is a separate security measure that can temporarily pause a sensitive action, typically for several hours, when account security signals trigger it. It may involve movement of assets, but it is not Roblox’s standard timing estimate for all Robux transfers. Roblox Support.
