To increase damage in Blox Fruits, put stat points into the category that matches your main attack: Melee for fighting styles, Sword for swords, Gun for guns, or Blox Fruit for fruit abilities. Then consider an accessory that boosts that damage type and, for weapons, an enchantment suited to the target you fight. Keep enough points in Defense—and, where needed, Melee for energy—to make the build usable.
Which stat should you upgrade for more damage?
Match your primary source of damage to its stat. The Blox Fruits Wiki’s stats reference says each level-up grants three stat points and describes these effects:
| Stat | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Melee | Fighting-style damage and energy |
| Sword | Sword damage |
| Gun | Gun damage |
| Blox Fruit | Fruit-ability damage |
| Defense | Health |
If most of your damage comes from fruit abilities, prioritize Blox Fruit; if you mainly use a sword, prioritize Sword. Splitting points across several attack stats can leave each source weaker, while ignoring Defense or energy needs can make a high-damage build difficult to use.
How should you balance damage, Defense, and energy?
The stats reference gives general community guidance: prioritize your main damage stat, then Defense, then Melee. It is not a guaranteed best allocation for every player or activity. Your level, combat mode, target, and reliance on energy all affect the trade-off.

The same reference says only three of the five stat categories can be maxed. It reports a stat-cap range of 2,800–3,000 depending on completed Island Secrets, based on a page updated September 28, 2026. Treat that as a community-wiki figure rather than a permanent rule; check the current in-game information before planning around a precise cap.
Its grinding suggestions also depend on your setup: it advises Blox Fruit when grinding without Buddha, while its Buddha grinding context discusses Melee and Defense, followed by Sword. These are situational recommendations, not universal builds.

What accessories can increase damage?
Accessories can add damage modifiers, but the Blox Fruits Wiki accessories reference says you can equip only one at a time. Choose an accessory that fits your main damage source, then compare its other combat benefits and the effort needed to obtain it.
| Accessory example | Listed damage effect | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Dojo Belts | Variants are listed with +10% to +80% Melee damage | Relevant to fighting-style builds; compare the specific belt’s other benefits and availability. |
| Megalo’s Coat | +15% all damage | A broad modifier; weigh it against the other bonuses on the accessory you would otherwise equip. |
These modifiers are listed by the community wiki, whose accessory page was checked October 8, 2026. Item effects can change, so confirm the current in-game description before choosing a build around an exact percentage. The available reference does not establish one best accessory for every player.

Which weapon enchantment is best for damage?
There is no single best damage enchantment for every fight: the listed effects depend on the target. The Blox Fruits Wiki enchantments reference, updated October 1, 2026, lists these examples:
| Enchantment | Listed effect | Best fit by target |
|---|---|---|
| Deadly | Up to 10% increased damage dealt to players at level 5 | Player combat |
| Sharp | Up to 18% damage to NPCs at level 6 | NPC combat |
| Piercing | At listed level 4, ignores up to 24% of defensive buffs | Targets relying on defensive buffs |
The reference also lists Beast, Elemental, and Natural modifiers aimed at corresponding target categories. Check that the enchantment is available for your particular weapon and verify its current level and effect before investing in it. These are wiki-listed game modifiers, not results from independent testing.
Quick Recap
A practical way to choose your build
- Identify your main attack. Decide whether you rely most on fighting styles, swords, guns, or fruit abilities.
- Prioritize its matching stat. Use Melee, Sword, Gun, or Blox Fruit respectively; reserve points for Defense and any energy needs.
- Choose one accessory. Compare its damage type, listed modifier, other combat benefits, and acquisition effort.
- Match weapon enchantments to your target. For example, Deadly is listed for player damage and Sharp for NPC damage; confirm the effect for your weapon.
- Recheck live values. Stat and item values are maintained in community references and may change; verify in-game descriptions before committing to an exact build.
