In Dishonored 2, once Delilah is unconscious, place her on the altar, swap the paintings, and read the note on the altar. That is the documented non-lethal continuation—even if the mission does not update after she falls.

Bethesda Support gives this sequence for players who reached the final fight without reading Delilah’s diary before entering the Void. In that situation, mission updates may not appear when Delilah is knocked unconscious, but the missing updates do not prevent this non-lethal route. Bethesda Support’s instructions begin from the point where she is already unconscious; they do not specify a required weapon or method for incapacitating her.

Why the altar and paintings matter
The sequence connects the final encounter to Delilah’s spirit. In the earlier Grand Palace mission, finding her spirit and sealing it in the vault is important to the final mission; Prima’s guide notes that the vault contains an effigy related to the spirit. Does this guarantee a no-kill run?
No. Resolving Delilah non-lethally does not by itself ensure a zero-kill playthrough. Bethesda warns that other deaths can count as kills, including panicked NPCs dying as they flee, deaths from drowning or fire, and deaths involving hacked Wall of Lights or Arc Pylons, certain Domino chains, spawned rats or bloodflies, or killing a Nest Keeper.
